From 21 to 23 of September, it was pleasantly cool and the whole sky was free from clouds. Seminar on “Cooperating for the Overall Arrangement of Levima Advanced Materials at a Fresh New Start” was held at the foot of Mount Tai, in Ramada Plaza. All members from president office of Levima Advanced Materials, directors and managers from various departments and subsidiaries, nearly 40 participants in total were present at this conference.

After 5 years’ construction and management, Levima Advanced Materials has realized the smooth operation of various units under high load production during a long period. With a firm base for the industry and a reliable operation team, Levima Advanced Materials has sold out all products manufactured and some of its remarkable products have built a good reputation on the market. Consequently, the group has realized the targets of its initial development stage (strategy 1.0). The year of 2017 is a fresh new start for Levima Advanced Materials and the discussion on development strategy for the next 5 years is of great importance for the steady development of Levima Advanced Materials.

On the morning of September 21, Assistant President of Levima Advanced Materials Mr. Zeng Liping reported on Development Strategy of Levima from 2018-2022. In his report, Mr. Zeng analyzed the strengths and weaknesses of Levima as well as its internal and external business environment. He proposed objectives and executive methods for the next stage of development (Levima Strategy 2.0). In the afternoon, Vice President Mr. Zhao Haili made a report on Production Efficiency and Operation Improvement of Levima. Combined with the operation status of Tengzhou Operation Base, he presented different proposals for the optimization of DMTO, EO and other units, the adjustment of product mix for PP, EVA, EOD and the development of new products.

On the morning of 22, Assistant President Mr. Han Huilong reported on the theme of Development Plan of Levima Technology. He analyzed in detail Levima’s position within industry and its competitiveness according to the current market situation of EOD products. A development strategy and overall aim for the next five years were proposed after that. In the afternoon, Assistant President Mr. Li Jun gave a speech on Procurement of Methanol and Sales Strategy of Related Products. He put forward several strategies on purchase of methanol as well as the developing strategies of PP and EVA products. Afterwards, Vice President Mr. Cai Wenquan reported on IPO of Levima Advanced Materials.

In accordance with the spirit of “Open thinking, Coordination &Cooperation, Seeking Truth from Facts and Communicating Frankly”, all participants have fully communicated and a number of constructive criticisms and suggestions have been raised during the discussion.

At the end of seminar, President Zheng Yueming summarized and plannedfor the next development step of Levima Advanced Materials. He called on all participants to keep the entrepreneurial spirit and move towards the goal of Strategy 2.0.

After the seminar, all participants climbed Mount Tai, experiencing the hardship and joy in climbing to the summit. More importantly, just as the old saying goes, “He will win whose army is animated by the same spirit throughout all its ranks”, Levima Advanced Materials will also achieve further improvements in the very near future.
