On April 7, 2017, Shandong Provincial Secretary Jiayi Liu inspected Levima Advanced Materials Co., Ltd. in warm spring. Member of Standing Committee of Shandong Provincial Committee and Secretary General Xiaoming Yu, Zaozhuang Municipal Party Secretary Tongdao Li, Mayor Lifeng, Member of Standing Committee of Zaozhuang Municipal Committee and Secretary-General Guowei Zhu, Tengzhou Municipal Party Secretary Shiguan Shao, Mayor Wenqiang Liu, and Levima Group Chairman Yueming Zheng, etc. accompanied during the inspection.

In central control room, Secretary Liu seriously listened to Chairman Yueming Zheng’s detailed report on Levima Advanced Materials’ development history, new material direction and reasons for layout in southwest Shandong, industry chain layout, product application area, construction of China’s chemical new materials transformation platform, industrialization base, strategic target, and future development layout, etc., highly affirmed the construction and operation achievements of Levima Advanced Materials, expressed support on CAS and Levima jointly creating chemical new material transformation platform and industrialization base, and hoped Levima to “fully make use of the powerful technical and talent resources of CAS related professional institutions and combine with its own industrial superiority to make the base be bigger and stronger”.

Secretary Liu demanded provincial and municipal governments to base on existing advantages of the park, further integrate resources, forcefully support the development of Levima Advanced Materials, and pointed out “the government and enterprise are in win-win relation during development process of national economy. The enterprise plays a leading role in economic development, for it can not only drive economic growth, but also constitutes important power of technical innovation, while the enterprise also needs positive and forceful help from local government for realizing development and thus realizes sound and fast development of macro-economy.” “The Provincial Party Committee and Provincial Government will support all development paths that are environmentally friendly, technically advanced and of high added value!”

Before end of the inspection, Secretary Liu earnestly invited Legend Holdings’ member enterprises to come to Shandong to make a contribution for the restructuring of Shandong’s state-owned enterprises and the transformation and upgrading of industrial structure.
