In recent years, China has issued a series of policies and legal documents explicitly proposing to support the promotion and use of degradable materials, including the Law of the People’s Republic of China on Prevention and Control of Environmental Pollution by Solid Waste revised and passed by the Standing Committee of the NPC on April 29 this year, encouraging the promotion and application of recyclable and degradable substitute products.

Compared with traditional plastics, the cost is relatively high and the popularization and application are limited.
